Door-to-door campaigns back in J&K, first since 1987 election


Evening campaigns and door-to-door canvassing have returned to Kashmir Valley for the first time since 1987. Candidates now engage directly with voters, marking a shift in the political climate. New participants include Independents and members of banned groups, reflecting changes ahead of the upcoming elections.
