Google explains the origin of the name ‘Gemini’ its AI model


Google's latest AI model, Gemini, got its name from the Latin term for 'twins,' symbolizing the merger of Google's DeepMind and Brain research teams. Jeff Dean, co-technical lead, shared the space-themed origin of the name, highlighting adaptability and multi-perspective capabilities.
