Two-child norm for govt jobs in Rajasthan gets SC nod


The Supreme Court has approved a 'two-child norm' for public employment, barring candidates with more than two children from seeking government jobs. The court dismissed the appeal of ex-serviceman Ram Lal Jat, who had applied for a constable's post in Rajasthan Police. The decision follows a similar provision upheld by the court for candidates contesting panchayat polls.
