Singer Bhavatharini, Ilaiyaraaja's daughter, dies of stomach cancer


National award-winning singer Bhavatharini, daughter of Ilaiyaraaja, has succumbed to stomach cancer. She was undergoing Ayurvedic treatment in Sri Lanka. Her story highlights the importance of awareness and vigilance in detecting and preventing stomach cancer. Born on July 23, 1976, Bhavatharinimade her debut as a singer for Raasaiya. She received the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer in 2000 for a song composed by her father.
