DRDO successfully tests advanced Akash-NG missile


The new generation Akash surface-to-air missile system is ready for user trials. The missile system has the capability to intercept hostile aircraft, helicopters, and drones at a range of 30-km. The Akash-NG weapon system will be a force multiplier for the air defense capability of the IAF and Army.
