Cops open fire on two murder case accused

After more than a decade, the city police on Tuesday opened fire on two accused in a murder case when the duo attempted to escape from their custody. The two sustained injuries to their legs and were admitted to Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for treatment.
