‘Puducherry ranks highest in social progress’

Lieutenant governor Tamilisai Soundararajan on Thursday announced that according to a report by the economic advisory committee, Puducherry has been ranked as the top Union Territory in the country for its exceptional performance in personal freedom, choice, shelter, water and sanitation, with a social progress score of 65.89 per cent.
