Madurai cops freeze assets of ganja peddlers

In a major crackdown on ganja peddlers in Madurai, the district police, under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, have frozen immovable assets including buildings and land worth Rs 5.5 crore belonging to three accused and their kin.
