Ex-AIADMK minister D Jayakumar arrested

On Monday evening, the Tondiarpet police team went to Jayakumar’s residence at Foreshore Estate, and arrested him. Following the arrest, a group of AIADMK cadres resorted to road blockade at Nungambakkam, causing a major traffic jam in the area.
