Govt to monitor Covid data to decide on eco intervention

The Centre will closely monitor Covid-19 infection data for 6 weeks to chart the path it needs to walk for economic intervention, rather than making announcements based on projections of the third wave of the pandemic, principal economic advisor, Sanjeev Sanyal said amid criticism of the govt for its alleged poor planning causing hardship to the people and the economy.
