TN: Covid spike steeper in semi-urban areas

Tirunelveli reported 714 fresh Covid cases on Wednesday, one of the highest in the state and disproportionate to its population as well as total cases the district has reported so far. Neighbouring Tuticorin was not very different. The coastal district had 594 fresh cases, the fifth highest in the state, despite the fact that there were no major clusters there.
